Great news that Nigel just the journey down now eeeeek.
We made a 3am start today for the 360mile coast to coast run clear of traffic.
Worth it for easy drive but paying for it now as like my sleep. Safe journey bud.

Bren man, you've bleedin' started something now! I mentioned your crazy 3am start time to the Mrs and she thinks that's an idea!!
However, the kids (14 & 11) are on my side..... and love their beds
Pre-cruise nerves are getting to me now! How long did your 360 mile trip take?

Well we're back!! And what a frickin awesome trip!
So Wednesday we packed up and headed off for sunny North Devon, the reason being our good friends Helen & Mike were getting married at the private Tunnels Beaches (Ilfracombe) on Thursday. I had agreed to do the wedding transport way back around Autumn time last year when my bus still in many pieces and in primer, just from their hotel to the venue. Here's a few pics from the day.....
This was the venue - fabulous...
Awesome BBQ food followed by an epic desert!!!
Returned to my bus so I could move it back to our campsite and have a few beers, to find someone taking a picture of it That made my day
Evening drawing in.... beautiful weather and setting
So Friday we took a trip to Croyde (Saunton in the background) and again the weather was fantastic
Obligatory pic outside The Little Pink Shop
Saturday (this morning), we went into Woolacombe so the kids could go to the beach again before heading back to Brum (spot the teenager who didn't want his photo taken )
The bus drew lots of attention and so many people came up to us for a chat about it and to ask questions.
We set off for home late afternoon and arrived home safely around 8.30pm, shattered but buzzing still from our fab few days away, and our first proper adventure in the bus in 2 years.
Back home....
We'll definitely be doing lots more trips away in the bus after such a successful few days. The kids loved sleeping in the bus too (we kicked them out the last night so we could sample it too and they slept in the tent for one night)

Missed this post at the time as had no internet. Journey there took 6 1/2 hours. journey home leaving at 10am took 9 hours due to traffic hence 3am start. my kids 13/16 & just go back to sleep there normally to tired to complain.
Love the update & looks like you had a blast.
one mistake you made though is letting kids sample the bus for sleeping nooooooooooooooooooo tent all day long for my two. ( what else would they have to complain about )

Love your bus Nige! I think the colour scheme looks real good, similar to what I'm thinking for mine, think I will have a while to decide!
