Hi Rick,
have you seen the Firetec bulk buy deal thread that's running at the moment. Jim's got a cracking deal so far (14% discount) and if he gets 3 more people buying we'll all get a bit more.

I was initially like that, but then started to hear the stories about engines catching fire

You got any more done yet? I've had no time for a couple of days

so I have decided to err on the side of caution.

I keep having a hour or two, but to be honest it's all boring stuff so I never take any pictures. Welded up the holes in the dash and did quite a bit on the b posts where someone had fitted seat belts and drilled about a million holes(no photos though)
I've got two more repairs to do, about a hour n half each I reckon and loads of grinding. I'm tempted to do a bit of filler, but that's probably to cover my dodgy welding before I drop it off!!! I'm not going to though I'm sure they can sort it. I've got a price for the paint job, but can see it going up as every single panel needs attention. It didn't look that bad when they came out! Not really bothered though as I'm that far into this now I just want to get it done.

Thought I'd have a hour rebuilding the the front beam today, over a year since I dismantled it so had to revert to some old photos I took, will finish tomorrow but seem to have lost one of bolts

Next job, sort the bumpers. Bus didn't come with much, but did have the OG deluxe slash cut bumpers. No rust either, so going to weld a couple of holes up from the tow bar and reversing lights then off to get sandblasted

Also pulled out the wiring loom for a look, it came inside the bus from the states but don't know who made it as no name on the bag or instructions. Says complete wiring harness minus dome lights, read the instructions and haven't got a clue!

Looks like a wire works loom I fitted on my bus, was a good loom, does it say on the paperwork who made it
