There will only ever be one Sherry!

Whisky though... once I start I cannot get enough it seems..Lagavulin 16.... actually..
Typing on a phone whilst/ during or after without glasses makes friends of us all!

Oh and thanks for reading my posts.. I thought this was a soliloquy!

You must have finally got nothing better to do?

Make up kitting boxes of all the bits you need to do the fitting out..

Lighting and electrics
Wiring
Interior switches and gauges etc.

That's far too organised!

Started on the Vespa engine with Dad today but came to a grinding halt due to lack of a circlip.

So spent most of today making the handrail for our spiral staircase - a job that's about four years overdue. It did require welding and fabrication though which was, and still is, lots of fun.
Trying to get everything out of the way before Rusty comes home.

Ah ha..

Been to the Dome.....
That will be a nice treat for the family....

Yes the roof is already painted inside..
My main worry is the edge of the belt line and the whole belt line which was very holy...
Looking forwards to seeing the extent of the rot...
Still it is only metal...
Dave n Matt can just weld some back..
LOL

Still....Life must go on....
OPEC comes first..
Set the tariffs
Set the volumes...
I still laugh...when ever Dave refers to you or your thread...
In real affectionate terms..
He is a real person...person..

He is a real STEALTH READER...
Are you reading this Dave...?

Incremental advances are what it takes....
Or so it seems to work with my missus..
I have had a few personal setbacks recently...and I am still kicking..
So do a little regularly..
At my age that still brings a little smile to my face...

Well blasting done...
Rain Rain Go away....
Today sun shines on the righteous...and loaded up to come home...

Image

Dave has organised for the body first and the panels and doors next.
Interesting what blasting reveals.
Wheel tubs and swage line were my main concern.
After using several people Dave is happy with this blast company...do a good job and do not miss or hide areas..
If Dave is happy it will be a good job..
He hates having to redo undo other people's bad work.
He has very high standards of his suppliers ( and his customers!)
So waiting "After Blast" pictures...
He did use a blast company who insisted on painting after blast...
They said to stop the freshly blasted surface from quickly corroding..
He found otherwise... to obfuscate..

Dave trailered Sherry home and put her straight in the nice warm booth to give her a coat of acid etch..
Several areas we have bought replacement panels but wanted the body blasted all over first and unpick the structure and graft in new panels...

I had already bought new panels for here because of the tin worm ravages...
