Vin plate numbers are correct on birth certificate, They match my chassis and vin plate, but my vin plate States mouse grey/pearl white, birth certificate says Turkish/blue white, also some other stuff wrong

Notice I thought my reply was a little rude!
So changed it...
I thought the paint codes were somehow a variable and relied on the VW employee writing them down correctly..
They are working from microfiches of the paper records. .
Some details have been lost..
Water damaged etc or record un readable...

It also says it's a type/model 211 on the certificate???

Right I'm back on it, after probably a month of not doing anything, decided to start cleaning and repairing my door locks. Maybe a little too much though!!

Got a email back from Roswitha at VW today regarding my birth certificate, basically put all wrong info on from another bus apart from chassis number, going to send me another one straight out

Tried putting some new clips onto the wheels with new tool Westy Mick gave me the other day, had to weld up a hole in the end to get a better finish on the rivet, but turned out pretty well

I did what you said, cut about 3/4 mm off those rivets and it gave me a really nice flat finish on the inside, with no grinding
