It is....thankfully...
I still like Matt's comment
.." There is so little left to send to the blasters..We should have cut the front clip off and the engine compartment and sent them to the blasters first then fitted it all back up..With the roof."
Dave has sent lots of pictures and is going to give a blast of acid etch all over before squaring it all up again and cutting more bits out and fitting back new metal and panels.

One known repaired and lead loaded area revealed..

Was visible on the outside...

Before the fun begins Dave took photos to show the "After blast" condition...
Looks much better than I thought it would...

Ah good...
So for all my regular readers....
As promised Dave has done a coat of etch prime all over to keep the rust at bay...
Then he has levelled it all up on the jacks to finish weld all the tacked joints in the chassis.
The whole frame is very flexible..
So finish weld and fit a few missing panels...Some of the auto craft order was out of stock...
Need a few more panels too.

Looking good! I'd love to have my bus restored to this standard. Maybe one day :
Let me know about the cutlery cupboard, it's down from the loft at the moment.
