Right so I had a bit of time at the weekend but it was mostly taken up with collecting the vast majority of what was left in my barn and moving it to the other side of town to my garage - where there just isn't the room

I set about making some space by getting organized and have a place for everything and everything in it's place.

Of course by doing this it isn't too long before you get distracted into fixing the camper, as a lot of stuff taking up the room is parts for the camper.

so

bottom and top polystyrene insulation was cut and fitted, wood got stained and some new holes drilled.

but for me this is a turning point. the OG door table and OG trim all fitted with OG screws. I need to remake the wooden support that goes underneath it but essentially it's there.
I also stained the other cargo door but it will need fresh insulation and the spice rack box needs lots of attention aswell before it's finished.

Thank you Graham.
You're a gentleman and most kind.
I am in the process of recreating OG cab door cards for Laura.
I did plan on spraypainting the hardboard but it still just looks like hardboard but I think I am going to see if I can get some thin grey paper and glue that to the rough side.
But tomorrow I am going to have another atemp at sorting my garage out.
It really needs it !

Got started on my workbench(mk2)

her you see the 1st attempt.
the idea was there but it's way too flimsy. With just some wood and bit's and pieces the 12mm ply is already struggling and I had to prop it up with a makeshift leg in the middle. Also the leg on the right mad getting into the corner a pain with large storage boxes.

so on to MK2
I recently put some new fencing up and was going to skip the old 3x3 posts but instead the are now being used for the bench.
I am going to put the right leg set back so I can get into the corner better, I notch a slot out and joined the two pieces to allow this and there still to be strength.
The longest 3x3 is the front beam so the bench is a bit longer, and I am going to make another leg for the middle.

I just thought I'd get back on Ssvc and let you all know I am still working on getting things done.
Bench is getting there, it has a shelf and things are finding a new place to live.
So much stuff from my barn to cram into a single garage and still have room for Laura.
I had to move the engine and didn't like to have to keep asking my house mate to help so made an engine trolley. Made it high enough to get the trolley jack to go under it so if I take an engine out again there'll be now wobbling and balancing fun and games just lower and away you go on the trolley.
Made from an old 3x3 frnce post, scrap of wood, plank from a pallet. The only thing I paid for was the coasters £4 from Screwfix.
