Thanks, I will keep you posted. If your interested in one, I will make another for test.

I have this throttle roller fitted to mine
http://www.jbevw.com/products
It's a great bit of kit and makes the pedal action as smooth as you like. Could be a good market over here as they're quite expensive once you factor in postage from the usa.
Cheers, Lee.

I nearly bought one, but then decided to make my own.

I will probably make a few throttle rollers, but not sure on the key rings, they are time consuming & can be a bit hit & miss.

I may need one of your rollers, too, Karl.
Haven't seen my Bergmann kit yet, so not sure if I'll be affected...

I will keep you all updated. The only issue I have is whether to supply tubes at the moment, If I do I can guarantee they all fit, but its another outlay. I don't think everyone's throttle tubes will be exactly the same diameter to fit into the bracket.
I will add a new thread in the for sale section.

Agreed.
I think that keeping the tube in the fan housing is a common issue with a clip on the rear to keep it in a fixed position.
I think with the tube and the screw fitting on the front as a fix and forget solution looks really good.
With the alternative fitting positions on the alloy head castings..I have slected a lower position to minimise the angle..but this would allow less friction and hopefully a smooth operation.
Good idea..

I had a small tidy up in the engine bay last week, re routed & sheathed some of the wiring so it looked more uniform. Fitted new filters, anodised black crank pulley & reshaped the tinware around the oil pipes. I've also adjusted my carb linkages & throttle cable so the carbs now open fully when then pedal is down.
Had a 50 mile test ride with the roller & all seems ok, a lot smoother operation & an increase in performance with a better overall connection.

I'll order a sample piece of 8mm stainless tube from ebay first, as I can't getting it any cheaper through work.

PS, type21f you PM me about a roller? as I never received a message, or have I got my wires crossed?
Also Thorston is restoring & calibrating me a speedo, its a 58 so not year correct as I should have a b**sted speedo. although it will do until I find a year correct one.
He's interested in 60 the kph clock as this is also a b**sted speedo, I'm not 100% sure what it may be worth.
