Best way to get the short and long side panels off is to cut out bits of the panels between the strengtheners, just leaving strips of panels spot welded to the strengtheners.
Then what I do is get a flapper disc and grind down the outer strips of side panel from the outside to make them a bit thinner, the grab one end with some mole grips of pliers and twist round and round , peeling the stripes of side panel from the strengthener s lime opening a tin of sardines.
Once all removed, the you will need to a bit of hammer and dolly work to just push flat the little holes in the strengtheners where the spot welds popped out.
Others may do it a different way, but that was the way I did mine.
Jon
Thanks Jon exactly what I was looking for
Hopefully can cracking on with it soon.

Huge panel order coming soon as I've stumbled across a 10% off voucher so what better way to spend a couple of grands worth.

Long time no post people.
Well the other half ordered the house to be finished before I start on the camper. So I'm nearly at the finishing point of doing the whole house. Here's a few pics. It was a right tip before.

don't want to bore you all with picture just wanted to show you I have been doing something haha.
Hoping to get a day or 2 on the camper in the next few days.
Happy new year everyone.

Well done with both projects, doing the camper would be enough for anyone but you have gota have somewhere to come back to.
We put the house projects on hold while we repair/rebuild our camper, now it's a year since we started and looks like another 5-6 months before its back in use, then well get back to doing the house.
Keep posting up the progress.

So here we go again a year later.
Remortgaged the house and now have the funds for the camper.
So this week I'm going to be building my workshop at the end of the garden.
I've ordered most of the tools I'll be needing aswell as a few good manuals.
So apologies for the major slacking but it is starting now haha
Hoping to be about on the road for the end of this year but that may be being hopeful but we will see.
.
Cheers
Joe.

Decoded the m plate last night nice to know a few bits aswell as it being a microbus not a Kombi ad that it is definitely original paint.
It's birthday if the day before my daughters so he turns 50 as she turns 5.
Still having the original paint sticker is pretty cool too. Making me think about painting it its original colours again.
More tools keep turning up and the workshop build has started I'll put some photos up when I get 5
Cheers

Not to bad mate been a long wait to get started as life gets on top as everyone knows. With another addition to the family.
At the moment cut out all the floor and prepping.
Also started building the workshop at the end of the garden so have somewhere work and rebuild the engine.
Hopefully see some movement in February.
Cheers
