Spent a bit of time revealing the original dash paint, came up ok I think.

Looks good, I've done the same, etch, primer and 2k. Are you waxyoling it or not?

Cellulose paint only. I'm not waxoiling, just the crevices as it's not going to be a daily.

Next comes the engine. The lump that came with it was wrecked so I bought a rebuilt 1600 SP from. VW engines ltd to save time. If the motors as good as their service I'll be very happy! Here's why it had to be single port.

I've spent months deciding on the interior. And finally picked up most of the Danbury parts I wanted so a fair bit of sanding and varnishing coming up!
