12v Battery tray before
Where there is the extra flap that supports the 12v battery its also a moisture trap and it had blister through to the wheel well
Cut out
Welded
Battery tray in, point to make on this is to save having to paint the exterior of the rear corner the new tray was actually cut short and but welded to the lip of the old tray.. matt I duff my cap
New support fabricated
Ready for paint

The rear bumper that came with the van was bent and in two pieces
The patina and accessory lights where awesome imo
So attempted to straighten out and asked Matt to see what he could do
Sorted
It turns out it was actually two bumpers as the two halves over lapped each other and at some point they where bolted together.. which turned out to be a result as Matt was able to cut and shut them to the right length so was able to keep my OG 67 Deluxe bumper

I git a call from Matt saying that the jacking point out riggers had started to go on the inside which was not visible on the outside.
We discussed options and inside of replacing the jacking points and outriggers in fear of the repo ones not looking OG and the fact that the actual jacking points where ok we decided to remove the jacking points and, repair the OG outrigger and put the original jacking points back on

I really really hope so, Matt reckons the welding will be finished next week so as long as I can find a painter to blend it in and the DVLA give me a easy ride when registering it then I can't wait to get around the shows etc this year. Stanford Hall is the aim

I was scratching my head by the V5 comment it's only dawned on me you meant T5 lol Vicky farm and the convoy would be great been Stanford four years running but never in a split!
Anyway Update pics from Matt
Floor is in!
So other then putting the micro bus seat mount plates back in and the seat mount points, this side is done!
Onto the long side sill
So basically the inner sill needs to down on the other side too
