I'd love to have the correct interior to go in but obviously I am well aware it's no simple task obtaining one.
Main priority for me is having the bus done properly and back on the road again, I do have a home made interior which I'm quite happy to put back in once she's finished and continue the search be it complete or bit by bit.
More than happy to wait and hopefully the correct bits will turn up over time.

Sorry I'm keeping the awning rail, but if you know of any interior pieces up for grabs please let me know.

Made with my fair hands with 3/4 r&r bed added later.
Not quite 'Devon' lol, but it did a job and gets you camping.

I have spares of the original Devon bits that are 62 specific - ie the cooker cupboard and sink unit. They will need some work but if you're serious about collecting the right bits in the long term then they're what you want.

As Graham says I've spent five years tracking down every piece to get a complete 62 interior, including four full (but mismatched) interiors which had individual bits I needed.

Lovely bus by the way, going to be a cracker when done. Jason (Splitmaster on here) also has a 62 turkis Devon. He had no interior so he borrowed mine and made an exact copy which won a billion awards and was mag featured, volksworld etc. Check out 'Celtic Woodwork' I think it's his mate's workshop he borrowed to make it and they may make you one for a price?

Thanks guys.
I've met Jason a few times at shows and he's only about 45min from me too I believe, and yes his bus is awesome.
I'll get in touch and see if his mate is interested, also be interested in seeing anything you have for sale.

After a great show this weekend at Dubfreeze we collected almost every panel needed from AHSCHOFIELD.

So just a couple of cans to get out the way and then next week it's cutting and blasting time for the bus.

In the Interiors
Devon
Stickies
Devon Brochures

I have posted pictures of the 1962MY brochure...
With your VW build date the Brochure for your model is shown under 1962....
That shows what the original interior would have been like..
Your Devon esque interior looks very good ..
I am a play the cards you are dealt with...sort of a guy...

So I am taking mine back to SWR BG...As she was built..
If I can help any let me know..

No more pics, it's taken from a book when buzz owned it (that's his mum I believe). Buzz may have more.

Thanks type21f i'll have a look.
One question for you, mine has the small round rear lights, I've noticed some of the other '62 projects have the later oval rears, is that because they are '62 registered but '63 MY, so mine is '61 registered but '62 MY?

Do you know the name of the book please.
Buzz did say he'd had a 'painting party' on it once, thanks for posting, great pic.
