Well I flew it to Pool in Wharfedale for the afternoon tea and now I am in Bolton Bridge. ..All my years watching 40s movies and practising double declutching paid off but were not really needed..
Boy it was windy on the A1 ( M1) but following an artic paid off. When the artic was blown to the right I knew my turn would come.

Found myself leading an Army convoy for miles, when I finally indicated to turn off and go towards Harewood House they all overtook and flashed me to say BYE EE

Lots of fun....

Still lots of very minor things to do.. but essentially only I would notice...
Now this one is rolling... time to complete and get it all to my critical eye....
Lots of tarting really....
Need to find one Devon Cooker cupboard hinge which has been destroyed and reassembled years ago.
Not seen an exact repro...so seeking a time warp OG with similar patina.
Devon big cupboard sliders typically get spilt on the top corners when they are down... Both mine have cracks in the top RH corner...
I have repaired both. This one looks really good but the LH top corner is missing.. a piece about 1cm square. You cannot see it but the door on full travel has worn the very bottom of the channel. When the door gets to the very bottom it drops out of the channel... hence why they split and why the corner has broken off.
Going to fit two rubber door stops so door comes down to rest on these...Will reduce the drop by 1cm but door will not drop out...
Like I said...Very minor details..
OK it will not be OG ...
But will then function..

Looks fantastic Graham
The flooring looks very tidy and the fact that all the corners line up perfectly appeals immensely to my rabid OCD
I noticed that you've got a little K&N style filter on the breather which vents into the engine bay. How do you find this as when I had the same on mine I noticed that there was always a very fine film of oil over the engine due to the oil mist that comes out of the filter.

Cheers, Lee.

Well the engine was built by CPR in California and I have the standard oil filler neck with drain to earth at the bottom. Because I have twin cars the standard outlet was to the oil bath filter so any mist was trapped there. Chico said that spec of engine should not need a catch tank. ..but if it does I will fit one...where to drain back to being the puzzle...
I have done very few miles yet...Engine bay was cleaned within an in inch of it's life so with my lights I will soon be able to see

Ah yes, thanks. I need to sort out how I'm going to get it :? Could you wrap it up and post it/courier it if I pay the costs?
I've got a garden full of two roof sections and a turret top. Mrs Empi doesn't look pleased when she looks at it all  I've managed to slot a roof section down the side of each shed and the turret top is on the roof of one of the sheds. Let's hope we don't have any high winds this weekend....

Handbrake and reverse gear selection testing...my that drive will be fun in the winter. .
Have to reverse in...and drive out but that bit has a challenging slope if you want to park on it...
Not to be tried in the winter. ..
