As I'm just about worked up, I thought I'd have a try at the brake lines today while I've got bus on its side and a couple of hours spare. Borrowed a flaring tool from the MOT centre next door to me at work and made the job a lot easier, got the rear lines in, servo and master cylinder/brake arm fitted, hopefully finish tomorrow if I get time on the bus

Finished Most of the brake lines off and got the belly pans fitted, new riv nut gun packed in after about 50 rivets, so decided to make my own. Simple but effective.

Not posted for a while, but I have been busy. Got the front beam back on and drums, servo and brakes all done and belly pans fitted

Looking good Rick.
Any advice with the servo install? I've got one to fit, but have taken bus off from the jig

Brakes and servo all fitted, just need to connect brakes to drums, got front end back on its wheels so that's the finished ride height. Fitted the rear Spring plates, but the new torsion arm plates I bought are a mile out, only one of the four holes line up.

Steve,
Mine being a walkthru I fitted it to the main beam not the underside of the cab floor as there was a support bar in the way, problem is I had to mount it sideways so the bleed nipples are facing sideways not up, I'll have to check if this is ok??? Apart from that very straight forward once you get your head around which way to route the pipes, the flaring tool I borrowed made life a lot easier as well.

I've also done a bit of painting, bought a tin of POR 15 and looks really good on the bits on the underside. I've even used it on the spring plates

Dropping wheels off tomorrow for painting, so if I remember I'll take some pics of bus, was up last week and they were cracking on with the filler. Roof was finished and they were doing the rear end and short panel, it's been there 3 week now and progressed more in that time than the previous 5 month at other shop

I've started building the door tops up, but some of the seals are wrong
hopefully I'll get the correct ones by end of week so I can finish
