Re: 1959 Canadian Mango Microbus project

Spent another whole 9 hour day on the mango again today.
Tackled the rear inner wheel tubs. Also scored a result in finding a lower early bulkhead repair panel so I can replace the whole thing rather than patch the old one. And at the end of the day my purchase on ebay of a spot welder arrived in time to fix a couple of top hats. Great bit of kit and worth its weight as so quick instead of plug welding.
A few pics of before and after I took today.

Good work mate. Those 9 hour days just fly don't they. Loving the welding. I'm having a right old time trying to crack on with mine at the minute. You'll be done before me the way things are looking! Keep it up, don't let that little thing called work get in the way.
Why do you have to stand on your head though to take the pictures?

Great work
I did the eBay spot welder purchase too. As you say, very useful.
Steve
ps. Could you turn your phone round when taking pic's - it's making my neck ache

Good day on the mango. Was wondering what I'd done being such a big job to weld the entire lower 350cm but glad I took the plunge.
So ground the welds on the rear arch repairs.
