Have had some more history of my bus!
After being pulled out of the yard by Dave and painted Red and Black etc, Dave then gave it away to a friend not long later, I think this may be to a bloke called Ken White. Ken sent some photos to Michael John Riley over here in the UK when he was trying to sell the bus in 2001.
Well Michael has sent me these photos and here they are..... Trippy!!
No I won't be returning it to this look hahaha

Just had a chat to Ken. He doesn't remember taking these pics but can confirm they were taken outside his house in Auckland. That's his oval, Mini and 62 in the garage.
Got some history regarding it's ownership if you're interested. Ken is an absolute character and you'll enjoy a chat with him about it all.

Some good news on the bus, I decided to take the plunge and get the bus registered. With all the horror stories of late regarding trying to register a classic car for its first UK reg I was expecting a rough time.
I prepared everything possible and sent it off to the DVLA. Well one week later I was sent a registration no issues!! All my original documents returned too. Who'd have thought it! Bus has been here for over 10 years and it is now finally registered for the UK roads. Now I just need to finish it haha!

Had some more photos sent over from New Zealand....
A shot of it during the hastily done repairs....
During the "artwork" applying stage, just after being painted red and black.
And in use at the NZ nationals 2001
The "artwork" *cough cough* on the decklid
Also got a couple of photos of a RHD barndoor panel van that was also on the site....
Love finding out more and more about the bus

Work started again today, bus has been turned round for the first time in months so was nice just seeing it properly again
Only little bits and pieces done, but on a plus side all the window sections are now solid again.
I need an inner window panel for the long side if anyone has one?????? LHD or RHD as can make a LHD one work.
This bit was actually too far gone so new section let in.
Little bit further each time, but happy to see it comin along
