Correct..
Yours is a 61 bus 62MY
Do not know if you quoted the build dare or the registration date!
VW and Devon interiors changed August each year..
Vehicle build date can be months before Registration..
I have looked in my reference books and they day 31/07/1961 move to segmented rear lights....Euro lights
But not sure what your VIN plate actually says....and vehicles were mixed in manufacture with some early and some late.
These may be OG or retro panels or lights...
My March 62 has euro lights...

All looks very familiar and about right for a UK RHD, looking forward to seeing you bring it back to how it should be

Cheers!
Well we gave it a light chassis blast to see where we should start.....
So after the blast it has become clear we shall just start again.
Chassis out, make a new one and then start again on the body!
So I guess it's just what weapon to use first?
But!!!! Before the fun can start we have to put a bit of brace work in the van!
First up some light tube sections for the front
