Thanks Gavinskii

Dave is doing the welding @ http://www.deaddubs.com/ In Langley Mill Nottingham. Dave is doing a fantastic job. :thumbleft:

It's the worst one he has done not suprising being a UK Bus. But he has a passion for his work and just keeps plodding on.

There is more Pics to come.

The underside is almost ready for a clean, 2 coats of etch, Gravitex and some paint. then it's on with some Running Gear.

I have been collecting Idea's and parts for a year now as the bus had ball joints and the beam was Shot.

I have gone for a 4" narrowed beam with dropped spindles And CSP Discs

And Ditched the Home made IRS for Straight axle with large Type 3 brakes.

Not to give too much away 8)

Thanks 23A :D

My mind is still not made up on the colour combo yet. :?

Currently I was thinking to get a sample made up of 40 Year Fade on a Sea Blue L360

"Ramsgate" comes from the Busses birth certificate for country of destination Ramsgate, England 8)

An Original RHD UK De Luxe Micro Bus with M Code 130 the deletion of sliding roof & roof windows. Cooler than a 23 Window Samba IMO :D

Good to see another UK Bus full of rot!!!! Makes me feel better!!!!!! My '55 is 7 months into its resto and we are still welding!

Ramsgate was the entry point for most UK buses, they then went on to a storage depot at Manston Airport. Met an old local a while ago who talked about seeing 50 buses at a time parked up awaiting delivery.

Good luck with the bus,

Mark
