I thought about letting it age naturally, but im far too impatient
Its going on barndoor 16's with landy tyres. I love Dai's (streetwagens) 53 swedish army bus so props go to him for inspiration
Hmmm those tyres would do the job nicely for my other set of 15's

got some more work done recently
convoy light had to have the bracket re shaped to fit
sitting on continental 14's atm (the first time i've seen it with a matching set of wheels )
loom should be going in soon, sunroof almost done...just need some more bits and bobs and some more cash

havent got long now but working as much as possible to get Das Bus to bvf
paint is looking good now
decroming the van seemed neverending
rear light guards were a found at newport classic car show
i only had one bumper hanger so i decided to make my own
old sign was a find from my decorating days
Hightop Phil gave me some seat belts a while back and I finally fitted them this eve

The paint looks nice mate... a buff with anchorwax would 'age' it up a tad? ...

going to get the rear brakes built up, sunroof cover fitted and get the loom in place over the next week

BTW, I ended up getting a set of those off road M&S tyres Found a used set on ebay for £20... Just need to find a grubby old set of 15" wheels to fit them on now

Love the rear bumper mount - lovely fab job!

its really starting to age well in the work shop looking like its not been restored

cheers Gray, it was pretty hard to get my head around the brakes with my fuzzy sunday afternoon hangover
thanks for helping me through it
main body of the wiring loom is in, just has to be connected at either end
rear brake internals are in now, just got to re do the copper lines and bleed the system
fuel tank is in
