Well thanks to buster the roofs on just needs just needs fully welding, thought I'd the the tyres refitted to the wheels now there painted but couldn't get them done i didn't realise crowsfeet had larger valves so got to try a few commercial places tomorrow

They are the same as land rover valves too, so try some of those guys too. I drove a 100 mile round trip to get 1 valve so I could get the van rolling that day!!! Worth it though

Yeah I read about land rover valves fitting last night, really annoyed me working day shifts so literally had 45 mins to get the tyres done before the place closed

Roofs on now just needs the welds tidying then a bit of paint, got the new tyres fitted today, not as big as I'd have liked at the rear but easy to fit

Don't think the spring plate should be this close with no engine fitted

Took a bit of a break from doing the roof and re part built the engine, ended up with brand new heads, barrels & pistons, csp bell crank linkage and a new exhaust :bounce: chuffed it ran first time, one step closer to Glaso next month!!

What exhaust is that... It looks ace. Is it fairly quiet with the double silencer?

Gutted got to have a few days off doing hnc work, engines running well and the bus is booked in for a rolling road session on the 14th just need to sort the gearlinkage now

bit of an update new bushes and a Geneberg shifter fitted, cant believe the difference it made! Also fitted the rear end shame the temp red oxide doesnt quite blend so well

Bloody van! Ran fine on the rollers once the jets were changed, smelt loads of fuel tho, filled the van up and it looks like fuel is coming thru the seam! This van is destined to keep me off the road!!

Been a busy few weeks mainly camping :D found the leak on the tank someone had gone a great repair in the past, ended up getting a new tank with a sender so i can fit a fuel gauge

interiors still not finished been far to busy! want to make a cabinet next to the bed and then treat the wood, managed to get some used cushions off ebay for for £9 were a perfect fit shame they dont match tho!

Asking what colour is it going to be and then you have to spend an hour explaining the rat look
And by the end there faces just look kindly at you with glazed eyes as you know they have not understood the rat look
