A.. The autocraft lower nse panel fits perfectly around the headlights..I got a load of schofield panels with mine but I'm not fitting them as I just can see them fitting properly.. Worth paying the little bit extra for autocraft..

Been following your build, good work there. Your A-post repairs are a lot neater than mine!

I have noticed Schofield's being out in a few places and I'm starting to lean towards Autocraft. The best panel I had from Schofield's was in the inner valance, but that come with Autocraft stickers on it - reselling I guess.

I'm confused when you say the lower panel wraps round the headlights - you don't seem to have gone that far up?

Not sure if your using the small bottles of gas, but if you google hobby weld, they are a nationwide firm whom you pay a one off refundable deposit of £65 for the bottle and then it's£30 for a large pub style gas bottle which last ages. You'll need to buy a regulator, about ?40 but much cheaper than the small bottles.

Apologies if yo already do this..

I guess you'll be doing headlamp support panel next. What are your headlight bowls like? Mine had rot and were a sod to repair!

Yeah, I'm using hobby weld. Not sure where all the gas went to. I'm guessing it's from when I built a plinth for my vice out of 5mm steel.

Yes, headlamp support next. Got a couple of repairs to do to it but fortunately the bowls are in really good nick.

Not sure it looks that great. I wasn't really 'in the zone' with my welding that night. sometimes the great welds just flow naturally, other times they're all just crap. Could be something to do with the gas running low.

Winter, new job and a few technical issues have held me up but there will be an update soon!

I have been making some progress, honest, just not really masses to show for it. I f that makes any sense. Anyway, here's some pics:











Left cab floor repairs. I made a right .... job of this and I'm going to redo it.





Repairs to rear of right A-post. Thought there might me some mileage in doing the front then the back, but I prefered the way I did it on the other side - all in one.



And now I'm half way through the right cab floor repair. Hopefully I'll do a better job of this.

Now you got your funky green panels ......it feels good hu ...know that more peaces to the jigsaw have arrived
