Bit of a teaser...
Seagull grey is on!
Mango to follow shortly. Happy so far, by no means a show bus and will have to sort the roof over the winter but since we want it on the road asap, it will wait with it wrinkles and dents for now. The rest is straight so I am happy with the way its turned out overall.

Out of interest how come you took the Porsche engine out? That's what it used to have isn't it? Looks really well now

We almost sold the whole van when Megan was having surgery. I took three months off work so it was mainly financial reasons. The engine was a high value big demand item, so we decided to sell it to help us through as I am self employed. Dont regret it at all, as its allowed me to change all of the things I wasnt happy with, and there were a lot of them

Getting there...

Ahh right sorry to hear that, thought you had done it for economy going tdi, then tuned and then back to petrol tuned with the type iv engine, what interior is going on once it's done?

No worries pal, shes all good now so it was definitely worth it. We originally went economy with the TDi but quickly realised that performance TDi's arent that much better than petrol. When Vicky said she really wanted to go aircooled, we went Type IV and I added a turbo to the mix for the extra go. Its evolved!
Interior wise, we are trying to make it look quaint and based on original colours and materials wise. The front seat will be a custom job, it will turn into a bed, and face backwards or forwards to provide seating for camping etc. The rear bench will be fixed upright and have Isofix points. There will be a little cupboard in there too. So fairly normal, if thats possible.
