I've been following this restoration for some time... your complete detailed resto gave me courage to get mine started.

Happy to hear that the wife and kids are fine though! That's the main thing! I'm sure you'll have Gerry up and running in no time.

Gerrys all up and running by Sunday evening as I couldn't leave him looking all sad for hims self I've been around the block ( 3 miles ) and all seams fine

ref to the rear wing temporary repair i'll sort it properly over the winter months
This just gives me the excuse to have him back into the paint shop to fix the qtr 100% and while it's there i"ll get the front bumper painted as it has x 1 big stone chip on it and I'll also paint the rear bumper too as kids has scratched it ...albeit a very small scratch but you all know me by know .

Well after my wheel troubles I needed I little me time so Claire gave me the day off to wiz to VW ACTION at Santa Pod


was a fab day and I really enjoyed chatting to old and new friends


There was some sweet rides there and it was epecialy nice to see the Foxon Park all finished after his Re-fresh ... Looks amazing Lodge


anyway it was a good time to test out the new camera and test some settings ( I really don't know what the hell i'm doing ) but they came out ok
