So what have I been up to ......Well I awoke on Sunday and the sun was shinning everyone else was still asleep so I text my mate Luke and asking his about a show that was on that day .... " He said pop down Mark and bring Gerry "

So I did



Ready for a big update !!!!! then here we go


It was not my normal kind of show it was a show Called " EDITION 38 " a lot more modern and a wider variety of VW not just air cooled so I was a little apprehensive in going as I didn't think I'd know anyone there .....but I thought ... what the hell !!! and off I set.

Its not too far from where I live so too around 20 - 30 mins to get there ... Arrived at 9am and the place was packed and I was the last vehicle to pull into the show and shine area .... I parked up and jumped out of Gerry ... and was soon approached by a crew member ( people how run the show )
he said we'll like to move you down nearer to the front if thats ok ( OMG so pleased I didn't take the trailer as I'm super rubbish at reversing with it attached and it was a tight squeeze through the people to get to where they want me to park.

So parked up . opened cargo doors . popped the Gerry book on the set ( Thanks Moody its a complete god send that book )

and off I went for a walk around the show and shine area ....... WELL WHAT CAN I SAY .... OMG ..... THESE CARS WERE AMAZING ....

people polishing there cars with in an inch of its life some with mirrors under them ( I remember those days hehehehe ) but these ere on another level amazing and so much £££££££££ must have been spent to get these cars looking like this .

I know they had water in them but still credit where credits due ... Bloody amazing ... Total Hats off moment

I really enjoyed the show .. Bumping its to some mates and also made some new ones too ....... Really friendly guys and girls too and they seam to love Gerry .... He got loads of attention all day

The music had some serious Bass to it ..mmmm loved it and the crowds gathered to see the show and shine winners








































So through the speakers a voice said Please go and check your cars for the winners gold star stickers ....... Well I was chatting to a few guys and I don't bother looking until a screw member tapped me no the back and said you need to move your Bus down to the very front ...... I replied " why sorry am i in your way " he looked at me and laughed and said ..... " go look at your front window dude "




















Anyway this is where it all changed for me and I discovered a whole new way of collection a trophy A very cleaver way too ... you drive up on a ramp and all can see who the winning cars are .... what a fab idea as I can honestly say I've been to a few shows and not really seen who's won what and what they are rolling in...... very cool

Well thats a fab finish to a great show nd one I'll defy go to again next year as it was great to see other living there dreams too

First off congrats! Looks like you've got another one to add to the trophy collection Your bus definitely deserved it and I must say that is one of the best way to receive a trophy - for all to see!

Also, keep the pictures coming - prefer splitties myself, but must admit that those are some sick rides!
