Paint update.
The roof has its final coat on - looking forward to having the rest of it finished. The roof required major work as it had been stood on multiple times in its previous life. A roof graft would possibly have been easier but it's done now.
Was hoping to take it to Spain next month but I'm taking a mates T4 now instead. Looks like the new deadline is Christmas!

Thanks Stu - going to have another look at the end of this week to see how its going.
In the meantime, the seats and door cards are coming on. From this:
To this:
Credit has to go to my girfriend who has done the upholstery on both the seat and the door cards, work done on the floor in the front room and dining room table which is where the sowing machine now lives:
and
The brown is recycled leather which is strong, feels like normal leather but is easier to work with and (quite a bit) cheaper. It's used in commercial car seats / plane seats etc. Doesn't smell quite as good but I can put up with no leather smell for the price! The cream is 'good quality' vinyl - couldnt find recycled leather in the right colour to match.

Thanks, I will complete it this year!! The roof to belt line is L87 pearl white and the rest of it will be L14 green. They never used the green on type 2s, just on type 1s and stopped using it in 1959.
