Now coated with a coat of black top coat. The outer belly pans will be given the same treatment on the inner faces and then be welded on. Image Image

Outer Belly Pans plug welded in place..
Note the holes for the Devon step legs through the belly pans.....

The rear face of the Devon step frame is shaped to match the chassis which determines the leg position.

Duodecagon rotisserie style roller in use yet again..
Design idea stolen with pride from the web and modified and fabricated by Matt Mounted onto wheeled supports to be rolled into place...
in the shop for welding or in the paint booth as required..
Such a good investment..

Got Kevin Jackson making some of my missing interior pieces..
He is busy doing a new interior and refurbishing pieces though so he is making the odd pieces for others and me in between..

Well.. I did work in the car industry and served a graduate apprenticeship of sorts. Ended up/ started out as a body detail supervisor... eventually had a team of skilled sheet metal workers/ rectifiers reporting to me doing line side repairs etc. They could DO anything with metal so I did at least get trained in knowing correct practices and appreciation of skills when I saw them. I am a planner project manager commercial project engineer... so I scheme..
SplitbusKev was the guy who introduced me to Dave..
Dave is an all out thoroughly nice guy.. and Matt is a delight
Working with them is so rewarding..

It's looking very good Graham. I like the red one but you've already got the type21f. I bet you leave it as stock colours 😁
