Ok, so it's a stock steering wheel. A repro from flat four. The horn push was from ISP in the U.S. Very nice it is too and is a perfect match. I'll take a picture of it at the weekend.

Ok photo pervs, this post is for you all. I'm typing this out drinking a rather large G&T and feeling quit smug with myself as I've a pretty busy day today.

First off, I fitted the bunks.



Had some future tenants check them for comfort.



And was pleased to see the covers we made fitted ok.



I then turned my attention to the cargo door rubbers, which needed sorting as the cargo doors couldn't shut. I cut them in half which has helped, but it's still a bugger to get the doors to shut. No pictures though. You know what door seals look like.

I then set about getting the drivers seat to fit. I had to cut a bit of the seat runner, to allow it to fit. Thankfully it went ok and I'm pleased to say I now have front seats.
The bay bus seats look pretty decent actually and come with the luxury of the drivers seat being adjustable.



Then I fitted the gearshift again. And was pleased that I seemed to be able to find gears from the start. I like the vintage speed item, it's not OTT like the t-handle shifters and you can position it to be where you want it to be. It's got the dreaded wobble, but I can live with it.


And having the shifter fitted meant I could finally fit the cab floor mat that I bought from the guy in OZ. A very nice item.


So things have come together a bit today

Resulting in one happy camper.

And this photo is specifically for Type21, who I know was desperate to get a better look at my new horn push. Here ya go Graeme. Hope it meets your expectations!

Nice! I've just ordered a horn push from notch1500 on eBay who's selling the isp ones. Yours looks great!

I just got mine directly from isp.

I looked at doing that too but for once eBay worked out cheaper after postage and import tax

I've been over to the states a few times this year, so just get stuff delivered to my hotel and bring it back in my case. All sorts of stuff including door seals and deluxe bumper trim.

Yep I have been looking at them today..
I thought they only fitted banjos but this looks really great..
Expanded my plans..
New wheel and black and gold sun and moon..horn push...
Very nice...

And I've just realised I forgot to fit the handbrake boot. Doh!

Yeah, I just had better things to do whilst the sun was shining. I'll crack on with it again now the summer is over.
Next job is to install the fuel tank this week.
