So these came today, any guesses?
Top quality stuff, and very well packed too, looks like they should fit great
Noise killer sound insulation also arrived, damn that stuff is heavy
Cheers
Neil

Can you let me know where to find these items? I am restoring an SO42 at the moment but keeping as much of the original paint as possible, your van looks great

John
Which items? The doorcards and kick panels? They are from a seller in the us on thesamba called Clara. Her price isn't bad, but shipping and duty is expensive
Pm me if you want more details
Cheers

So an update overdue...
Some more pics from Irv's before we went for another look
So we went and had a final look, took the front beam up, and the rear running gear, got them on, and fitted the steering box, as well as running some cables through the chassis, can't find any pics of fitting them though
And then it was time for collection, getting her home just in time for her 49th birthday on 1 March
And fitted the old steeling wheel to roll it on
And then time to get loaded up

Loaded onto trailer
All wrapped in cling film and ready for the off
So after a short journey home! We got unloaded and got cracking pulling the loom through and getting the shift rod fitted
And the rear end
And then finally back in her home
Then started on connecting the loom up...
More next time

Had. A day off work to try and get things moving, made good progress getting master cylinder and servo fitted up
Clutch and brake pedal all fitted up at this point too
The Mrs was off as well so started on the soundproofing, I'm hoping it works as it is damned heavy
We also got all the framework back in to the headliner and pop top
Finish brake lines next time

As soon as I saw that packaging I knew those kick panels were from Clara. Really great quality and top notch packaging!
Bus looks superb.
