Wicked bit of kit on and off a few times no picture but at 2 splines had some shocking inverse camber only problem was 14" bus rims with 195/65/R14 were fouling the adjuster had to use some bug rims untill I get some spacers

Ayup Ted

"Well Stoked" Is an understatement 8O , But there's still a long way to go

It would be cool to stick an engine in and run it as a very honest bus with all its battle scars, But I want to hit the scene full on and not have to keep taking the bus of the road. When its on the road that is were its staying

As for the show season maybe next year

Thanks to Butty for his advice got some 25mm spacers from http://www.midlandwheels.com/Shop/P-159 ... -Pair.html and 40mm long bolts 8)

Wheels went on really easy just loosened safety bolt and axle just pulled down

Gives you confidence for if you ever have to do a road side change 8)

Got about 10mm clearance to the adjuster with 195/65/R14

Thanks Lee we are very happy so far and can start to visualise the finished bus

A.S.A.P  We need to crack on with the project but will not rush it, As I first said to Steve Saunders fistral 2010 was the realistic target if we had one. Owned the bus a year and 6 months on the 20th of this month, so 2 and a half years for a full resto I think is about right. Maybe volksworld show 2010

Recently I had a telephone conversation with the original owner :o

He is 96 :salute: himself and his wife has invited us round for a cup of tea 8)

The bus did not travel far to get to them from Wolfsburg to Ramsgate then to the Maistone Kent dealership and finaly to Bexhill on sea

They owned the "van" for 20 years and travelled all around Europe untill passing the ownership onto there son

I have spoken to his son and he is getting some bits and pieces together hopefully
