Cheers, I've been waiting 6 months to get to this stage but worth the wait. You'll get there.

Awesome bus!
I think this is the bus I narrowly missed out on back in November, you got it for a cracking price (won't publish on here) I have one that looks just like it well when you bought it that is
Good luck with it, looks like you're making some real progress

Cheers guys.
Yes, we bought it in November for a very competitive price and it pretty much ticked all of my wish list (13 windows, original fuchs, solid. The only thing missing was a big motor, but that will come )
I know we've upset a few by painting it but we had a clear view of how we wanted it to look and wanted a solid starting point rather than spending lots of time & £ on welding.

Why oh why did I buy a van with 6 pop outs!!!!
5 Of the 6 are built back up, two of which are also fitted to the van. It's been a stressfull evening.
It's gonna be tight getting it driveable by Sunday morning to deliver to the guy building the bed and interior storage.

If it had been OG sealing wax red it wouldn't have gone anywhere near the paint shop. Got a tight deadline so gonna be a few late nights between now and Sunday.

I know what you're saying.
So far I've fitted 2 of my popouts on my own but the 3 on the drivers side are a 2 man job and can be hard work.
Communication is the key.
I've still got 1 more to fix and then 3 to fit.

Going to have some further storage built into the walkthrough area in the front.

Last weekend was spent polishing the OG 48 year old deluxe trim. Got a few dents and scrapes on it but cleaned up ok.
