It has taken me the best part of 5 nights to read this whole thread!!

It is the most amazing read and a testiment to your talent Mark, to start off with what was "growing" in the woods and then to have driven it all the way back to where it was found is pure skill in the restoration and pure madness in the long trip!!!

My only concern now is what restoration thread will ever beat this.

Just finished reading this whole thread.
I don 't know what to say to you Mark that hasn't already been said but outstanding deadication and craftsmanship.
Realy inspirational stuff.
Its also good to see people like you, Scotty and others using these vans after they've been done for what they are supposed to be used for. And that is driving.
Thankyou for sharing your adventure with us and i very much look forward to seeing what project you next take on.

Hi Clinton,

i cant, i dont have your number. I had to restore my n97 from a backup AGAIN after doing a major software update to it, just to make it work as its utter total junk and i lost around 30% of the contacts for reasons i never got to the bottom of.
pm me them both or ring me
Sorry mate nothing personal - just the usual Mark type blunders.

Sorry Arie no real gearbox updates, its finally clean after washing it out with some solvents about 3 times to clean all the metal fragments out of it and its all sat there waiting for some time to reassemble which i will get done very shortly. Too many other projects on at the moment..

A few pics from the Winter Trail. It was fantastic seeing the Kempes on the forest tracks, like right at home 8)
