If I had to swap my Bus for another it would be this bad boy. Amazing!

I could do with some of those seatbelt brackets myself, fancy making some more??!! :)

Thanks, if only it was that easy! I had a 5mm difference in the length of gap between both sides. I can machine a set of side plates, if you can weld the cross braces in. But I can't make them without measuring the gaps.

Thanks for the reply. Roughly, how much would you want for the bits?

At the same time as siting my seat belts, I've also been working on the interior.
Firstly I reluctantly removed the heater tube from under the rear seat, it was never used & always in the way, so it had to go. Cut out as neatly as possible so It can always be replaced.

I then layed a 9mm marine ply floor & finished off with some dark oak Karndean flooring. Soundproofing was covered with some cheap brown cord carpet & my Rusty's full width R&R fitted.

I guess your Heater box was welded to the floor as it is an early bus. On my Devon the heater box was removable and screwed to the wooden floor with four screws. Devon then fitted an alloy checker plate piece in front of the heater box between the pressed metal fet. There was a thread on cutting the pipe and shortening it back to get it under the seat (Think it was BJ1...
On my 62 Devonette this will be what I do.
I have "borrowed" an idea from maddison to build a sub floor (read single sheet of thin ply and tiles) to be placed on top of the heater tube. Like maddy I will store infrequently used steel items around the sides of the heater tube/ propex and then put the sub floor on top resting on the heter tube and up against the front face of the Devon rear seat.

You may want to re-instate with a cut down tube as it will be under the R&R...At least you have kept it!
Just an idea..
(my) SWMBO has ice for blood..and I need all the heat I can get in the van..

Not running exchangers, so there's no point & its done now. I'll be fitting a propex heater up front later on. If I ever revert back to heat exchangers, I'll fit a y peace to the tube, if I ever put it back to a micro bus, I'll reinstall the tube.

Just a few low quality shots of the interior until I get some better ones.

Love the new look mate, really really nice. Love the engineering on this bus and the little hidden treats everywhere!

Wish I had access to a full machine shop, actually probably wouldn't be wise as I would live there!
