Took another day off, and got brakes bled, seem ok first time, I'll give it a week and try again just to check for leaks. The weather wasn't too kind today, so had to do some undercover jobs, can't fit pop top until I get some slam tyres on, it won't fit under the garage door
Got the space blanket insulation fitted behind headliner, and headliner back in
Also got the eberspacher mounted and the looms pulled though, just need to connect up. Also finished gearbox and fitted driveshafts, so not too far from getting engine back in, will be a relief to get that out of the way and have more room.
Had a go at fitting the under seat mats, but as usual they wouldn't fit with the seals, so left that for another day...
Fitted fire extinguisher, that's just about done in engine bay apart from split charge relay to fit, engine in soon
Back end starting to look like a bus again...
Decided to start the horrible job of doing the cab door tops...

Managed to get a couple more hours over the weekend but the weather wasn't good so mostly interior jobs, first off got cab door tops built and fitted, still waiting on quarterlight seals to finish those, but catches riveted in, and just ready to fit glass
Next up fitted the westy windows to try and get her watertight
Onto insulating all the rear section and refitting interior panels
Also got interior lights refitted

Cheers, bit more to come
Next up got the rear bumper built up and ready for when the engine goes in
And pop top ready to go back on once smaller tyres fitted
And lastly, got the Mrs to apply heat resistant barrier to the inside of the valance, heard that not much clearance for vintage speed, so thought it was worth a try
That's all for now

Can't believe its 2 weeks since I update this...away for the weekend at the insistence of the Mrs, so time to update the thread..
First up I had a little help to put the fixed glass in, this was really important as I am doing most of the work on the drive, and need it to be weatherproof
Also fitted harp arm mirror arms and new flat 4 mirrors
And one I was most worried about the rear window
Thankfully they all went in without a hitch, and just before it started p1ss1ng it down, you can see in the pics that the bus has had a shower
Then onto the final waterproofing piece, fitting the pop top, this is the easy bit, canvas fitting to follow....
As pop top was on had to fit the new wheels, just goes under the garage door with half an inch to spare
Feeling brave, front headliner cards from Clara were the next thing
The next task was to fit the floor so the rest of the interior could go back in. Thanks to Nugget and his van, getting a sheet of 5' by 5' ply isn't easy without a van, once the floor was in, spent a bit of time getting the interior back in - after 6 months of not being able to get into the front room the Mrs was getting a little irritable
Big task then was fitting the engine...
Took a bit of help from the family, but eventually got it back in and then could think about refitting valance and engine lid
Next thing was building up the bumpers, brackets and splash pans powder coated, all ready to go back on
Front built up in lounge
Cheers
Neil
