Some more progress, just bits and bobs now.. Found this mess when I eventually prised the window open
So in with a new piece
Then took jays advice and used some panel adhesive / sealant I had lying about to fit the seal on the next window. If nothing else it should hold the seal in nicely on the rusty but at the bottom as I have had problems with the seal coming out of the channels on the others. Judging by how well it stuck to my hands I reckon it should be pretty good ..
Now got one side finished
Then done a bit on the brakes, both fronts had new cylinders, hoses , springs etc
Quite satisfying turning that mess into this
Also seam sealed all repairs under the front and painted both sides under the wheel arches .. Oh and fitted new shocks and installed most of the brake pipes
Tomorrow night I'm hoping to get the rear drums off to sort them out then I'm ready to get it bled out and fit the handbrake

Last couple of days have been spent painting underside and sorting the brakes, everything imaginable at the front end was seized solid so it's been a long job freeing and sorting the linkages and handbrake etc. I now have brakes !! Only trouble is that the handbrake cable doesn't seem right , I have brought 59-60 ones but the outer sleeve at the back doesn't allow the lever to pull far enough in to operate the linkage, can anyone see what the problem is from this picture ? I'm guessing I may have the wrong cables as I have got these almost fully adjusted up ?

Sorted brakes in the end by making some extension pieces for the hand brake , brakes are now fully sorted and adjusted up. That's took all week and been doing my head in, got a package yesterday so was up at the crack of dawn to get them fitted
Also managed to get the front panel cards back in which were in pretty good shape .. And the rubber mat , front is now quite habitable

Progress slow this week, everything takes ten times longer than expected , who would guess it could take three hours to fit two wheels ! All the threads were crusted up badly
Underside almost painted apart from cab floor which u still haven't fitted
C post repaired , jacking points installed
And ankor waxed one side, the colour has darkened a lot ! It has brought out the colour quite nicely though
Mot booked for next Friday !!

Cheers glen, half a floor in tonight along with a few other small jobs ticked off the list. Engine was running really rough, cleaned out the jets and it's running really nice now .. Unfortunately I fear for the worst with the gearbox though. I filled it with fresh oil tonight and ran it up on axle stands, fourth gear is grinding and it shakes the van. Guess I will find out for sure when in the road but it doesn't sound good. Either way I will probably just try and live with it for the season.

Still can't believe the speed you have put it all together - good luck with the MOT
