Nice one bud. That black material looks great against the blue... Great choice.

So I drove home from my workshop about 12 miles and had to get recovered the last 4 miles!! Fuses kept blowing once it got hot in traffic, so I changed a couple of connections on the fuse board and I think it's sorted.
Next day for the maiden voyage I drove 125 miles to the inlaws,
I was about 5 miles away and I start to hear a knocking on the rear so once I'm there I investigated and found the rear top shock mounts (that I relocated when I did IRS) have snapped clean off! So I removed them and cleaned the oil off the drive at the same time, then carried on with a steady 85 mile drive to Bristol where I went to Jeffs VW shack to have the shock mounts refitted, this time a spacer made up and welded to a hole drilled though the chassis,
My wife says our Nephew gives the bus his seal of approval and he took it for a spin
Had a fuse blow again but think it might have been the battery negative earthing out the brake light connection, hopefully that was the issue but il find out on the drive back to Nottingham tomorrow,
Rich

Wont be there unfortunately, got a 12 week old baby so not really too practical at the moment, plus every minute I have spare is being spent on getting our van done. Hopefully get to see it at a show eventually though. Enjoy!!
