This photo makes it look like it's just been dragged out of a pond! Seems a long time ago when it was all clean and grey.......

Don't do clean :D - Actually Scotty its ice and mud mix - 90% of it had fallen off by i got home but there were a few big lumps on the drive the next day. The reason for the heaters was that the gearstick rod was frozen solid and surrounded by ice the whole length of the van and we were leaving in 30 minutes from when i found it was stuck so all the heaters and a ladies hairdryer were installed under it to free it up. -14 degrees i heard that night..

Chiselling lumps of ice off the bottom using screwdrivers next to my new paint did make me wince a little though :D .

Thanks for the pictures Mike - was such a great time, i will post a few when i have sorted them out.

Thought i would share the few bits and bobs of video we did on a phone/Digi camera that i chucked together.
Its one video but had to chop it up to host it.

The Winter Trail 2010 from Ben and mine point of view on mostly the off road sections.... I apologies for the editing its my first attempt - its just for fun :)

This is the slightly Longer/larger Facebook version but you will need a facebook login.

Hi Loxarn,

GO and GET IT before someone else does! BDs are highly sought after and with only your location given the freaks will track the car within one week´s intensive search, they will buy it, drag it out and sell it for a fortune.
As you found it YOU should also be the one who profits from that, so: There is no way back. I think you own a BD now ...

Jurgen

I dont think its for sale but i can always ask...

The house on wich gardens it stands on just got sold and i will try to ask the new owners if they wanna sell it

The bus has been there a least since 1991 and it hasnt any wheels, so it has to be lifted of that spot...

"Freak" is not mentioned in a negative sense of the word but stands for "enthusiast" ...

I fell in a canal yesterday - got covered in mud, i guess i looked a bit freaky walking the mile through the countryside back to the car. :)

Yeh Loxarn - go get it - chances are the new owners will crush that thing with a jcb and would probably gladly take a few SEK for you to take it away. GO ASK!!!!! - cant hurt!!

SO van MOT just ran out - yep its been one year since it passed - need to fix a broken beam bolt which we did on the winter trail to get the Man to issue a new MOT then will be out and about.
I'm sure that the front end is lowering itself - slowly but surely even with the weight of the camping box in the back as i suspect i have a few more torsion bars cracking or broken..

Realised i didnt post any pictures of Mike and my day out - im sure Mike or i did somewhere but i dont remember and seeing as this thread has been dragged up from the depths i will add some here..
