Well that's it , big day tomorrow ! Have painted all the underside in por15 this week, stripped and cleaned the carb, fitted electronic ignition, fitted a fuel gauge I made out of an old smiths temperature gauge, I had to re print the back and change the scale a bit but it works a treat. Spent all night tonight ankor waxing and cleaning the inside and Windows. Fingers crossed for the mot and more importantly making it there with no hiccups as I have only currently driven about 300 yds ! Image

I've put a rear bumper on but not keen, will prob take it off after the mot. Image

Even managed to get the heat exchangers piped up and connected to the control knob, first time I've had heating in a bus ! This was seized solid and a git to free off but now working too :)

And a bit of a downer tonight when I stripped some of the fibreglass insulation out that was rammed into every corner of the bus it has taken a bit of the roof with it and I now have a hole in the roof :( there is a two inch patch that I need to sort but that can wait for another day Image

PASSED !! Mot man shook his head and laughed at me when I pulled up, once on the Ramps he totally changed and said he'd never seen anything so straight and congratulated me :) not a single advisory. Drive like a dream too, Still got some troubles though, hub seal was not fully seated so was rubbing on the brake springs and fourth gear is noisy and keeps popping out and flywheel seal is leaking badly. Luckily I have a spare box so have sent v55 of this afternoon and will drop the engine and box next week, fingers crossed I should have it done by the time the reg comes back.

Cheers, New gearbox and a makeshift bed in the back till finances recover. 3 more pop outs to sort , hole in the roof to sort then Vic farm / Stanford hall will be the first outing. Once I have the reg I can give it a proper shakedown and iron out any problems

Cheers, def wasn't quick and easy, I just have the luxury of a workshop attached to the house and a wife who likes to watch her own stuff on tv at night and the fact I only need 4 hours sleep. I think there is around 400 hours in it and a lot of pain, cuts, blood and tears!
