Looking good. I had wondered too whether to have the whole thing in red before putting the beige grey over the top as it would have been originally.

The vans still got loads of dents in it didn't want to start loading it with filler or new panels unnecessary, a lot of the paint will be getting removed don't want a super shiny bus

Even more time on the bus
got the rest of the shell painted today
Now thats done i want to re assemble all the suspension and refit so i can get the bus out of the garage so I've got some room to paint all the other panels.
Had a problem with the front beam, as its an early one it has bushes not bearings for the trailing arms and i need new ones, asked all the usual sellers and no one seems to stock them, noticed vwjim said about delrin bushes but he hasn't got any, spoke to my neighbour who reckons he can make some if i supply the material.

Cracking job, nothing more satisfying than doing it yourself in your own cave hats off to you. I'm a few weeks behind you for colour just at the final prep bits..

Agreed....
All your own work... Respect and credit to you...
I stripped what I could and scraped all the underseal off mine
I refurbished the interior panels and refitted these with the professionaly refinished Devon interior....
...and worked hard to earn the LSD to fund what I neither had the skills or the time to do....properly...
But I am proud of what I did do..
Oh and all the nerdy detail gathering and stash hunting too...
I enjoy that... working in project management, having been an ex researcher process and procurement person..
