All cut out ready for lower repair which I did today, also cut lower inner and outer front panel off and got new inner panel in and got new a pillar in, photos to follow shortly

Its hard to know where to measure off to get new a pillar right as I had nothing to brace anything off as a pillar was already gone and panel above door was rotten and front panel was all bent and rotten on n/s

Painted all new panels in rustbucket before I welded panels to them to make sure they ate protected or its not worth doing the job, top quality panel supplied by a h Scofield :wink:

Replaced bit above drivers door with cut that I got with the bus just had to fabricate one end as it was a little to short

Got top dash pod support in made by ADR engineering in Uxbridge as you can't get this panel

Got all new gutter in and painted with rust bullet so it won't go again, seems the gutters are the first thing that goes on these early bus's, it was a s##t job that seemed to take forever but im happy now its done as its all as new now, what with this and the a pillar its seems I'm doing the worst bits first ,the week can only get easier :lol: :lol:

Got new separation panel repair in, looks like I'm going to have to leave dog legs for now as I'm still waiting for gerson ones to arrive as the 50\51's come with different ones you can't get here in the uk

Got all roof edge in today, a nightmare of a job to be truthful, and done n/s closing panel ready for cargo floor to be be put in tmz, I can't wait to get back to work Monday for a rest :lol: :lol:

Love this project. you are flying though it. Where did you get your b and c post lowers?
