Lol thanks Rick but it's not all plane sailing.

Master cylinder with brake pedal in place and clutch cable fed through to gearbox. Accelerator cable is in as well whilst I was under there. Might upgrade to a buttys bits throttle kit if funds allow.

You're missing the rubber boot that goes over the pushrod end of the master cylinder and protects (to an extent) the master cylinder.

I just happen to have a spare, so PM me your addy and I'll pop it in the post.

Any idea what steering rack they use on the red 9 kit, I was one told they use mostly VW stuff off the shelf, as in the t25 bevel box at the bottom of the steering shaft, and items like ball joints so they can be sorced easily when they wear out.

Easy to fit in a warm garage, might be worth warming it indoors first to get the rubber plug through the hole without it tearing.

MMMM Can you post a picture showing location of where this stop goes?
I do not remember removing one or fitting one.
I did not buy one and have had an issue if you 'stand on' the clutch pedal it did stick down a couple of times...
Alarming the first time it did it...but easy to pull it back up with foot or hand..
Not done it recently.
I was convinced it was a cab belly pan issue..

My old Audi did the same but a mineral oil soaked foot one day confirmed my suspicion it was a seal issue on the clutch master cylinder..

The large square part goes underneath the floor and hits on the clutch arm not the pedal so doesn't effect the mat.

Clutch release spring lever arm thingy (at the gearbox end) should pull the clutch cable back and therefore pull the clutch pedal back up. Could be you had a Bowden tube issue which self corrected ?
