It's a good feeling looking back when you go in the garage at it, got to restore and make some of the interior still, a while off yet!

I restored all my OG panels....Took me days cleaning gluing flattening repairing remaking corners filling cracks painting and covering holes....but so satisfying...
I did that...
Same feeling I get looking at a £40m factory I was part off..
Pride...

Unfortunately there was no interior at all when I bought it, been collecting original parts and the rest I will have to make, ordered some delrin to make the beam bushes, should be rolling by the start of next month, got a snowboard trip to fit in too

So after a short stag do in Morzine I'm back on the bus

Neighbours started making the bushes and I've now got the lower trailing arms in

Steering box rebuild also complete and ready for paint, struggling to split my spindles might need some advice on them

So not much has been going on recently, got all the brake parts to rebuild the rear end, beams now complete and ready to refit, was looking for 63 only spindles but for now I'm going to refurbish mine and refit.
The big reason for the resto slowing is below Elliot James born on 2nd April, as you can see the vw brainwashing has started early...

Two projects at the same time...
and you think the bus project is expensive..
My eldest is 36 snd youngest is 31....and still cost more than my four vans..
LOL

Congrats to SWMBO..
A son every man secretly wants a son..
To pass him the spanners...
Trouble is it develops into Dad you have too many projects
Dad you have too many cars..
Can I collect and restore the 83 Alfetta for you ( oops me)

OK son...
From having no money he has sold all my goodies I gave him to fund the exhaust filters wheels tyres..
Oh why did I (we)give birth to Petrol head...

Nothing to do with me...
