So now I've got fresh paint in the engine bay it's time to start cleaning up the engine etc.

First thing I'm gonna start off with the oil bath air filter. Empty the oil get some cleaner on it n get some of this muck off.
Thinking I'll respray the lid as its looking tired

Washed it all down with gunk then soapy water and wait to dry.
Later rubbed it down with wire wool and gave it a spray with gloss black.

Just a little time left so thought I'd also get my engine bay rubbers back in.

Clean them with hot soapy water, look good as new !

Rinse then let them sit in clean hot water to soften

Bit of wd40 in the channels and they slip in lovely
