Not much progress recently, as others have taken priority.
One thing that has progressed are the belly pans I've decided to fit. Rick at Schofield's made me a few sets without the cut outs for jacking points, as we don't use them. These are bolt on install, rather than weld on, so I can get above them for yearly maintenance etc.
Modified and epoxy primered
Then stone chipped.
They'll be 2k painted later too.

Any progress is good mate. Looking great as usual. How you planning on fixing the sill side? Rivnuts?

Yes, rivnuts all round. With an additional flange to support the long sides of the inner belly pan. That's off being plated at the moment, maybe a bit OTT, but the plating will give a good level of corrosion protection.

Will u double rivnut then on the long inner section, ie on the flange and the chassis rail to prevent it twisting?

The flange has two rows of captive (welded on) nuts, rather than rivnuts.
The outer row of nuts are for the outer belly pan, so bolts go up through the outer belly pan, through the main chassis rail than into the flange. So when tight, the belly pan / chassis rail / flange are all held together.
Then the inner row of nuts are for the inner belly pan, so the bolts this time just go though the inner belly pan and the flange.
It should keep the main chassis components pretty clean and dry, plus by some amount it might help make the heating a touch more effective by reducing heat loss along the main heating duct.

Nice, I like it. Im not happy with my solution and had a similar idea to your in mind. I will probably end up doing it over a winter at some point in the future.
Anything that will help with keeping the heat where it should be is a definite must. Will u be taking this one over to the Alps at all??

Not this one I shouldn't think. But we've actually been doing two buses side by side as Jen's bus is getting the same, and that one will be going over the mountains again this year, although in the Autumn this time so no snow I'd expect.

Locker area is getting a rubber mat, so it lays flat first its getting some hardboard, which is yacht varnished and 2mm foam to reduce rubbing the paint through.
