After waiting for a new outer bearing spacer, it didn't come as the photo on website, but like the other one I already bought that was different. Anyway at least I now have two the same, my new bearing covers arrived as well so decided to finish building up the rear end after being sat for two week, now ready to bolt on I think!! Also decided to change the lower Spring in the brakes, back to how it was originally with two smaller springs

Looks good what you've done though.
Once you've got the hang of it, can you do mine?

Steve,
If your using the later type glass I don't think you'll have a problem, if you use the early type glass, upto early 63 the repro bottom felts are a total nightmare and are way too thick to take the runners. The rest was straight forward!!!!

Later v early type glass..
I have glass from 62 and 64 and 65 and 67...All the same thickness. But my buses are all euro buses.. toughened glass not laminated glass..
Why do you say they do not fit . Must be thickness you describe..
Repro glass can be thinner..

I think early US spec buses upto 63(with sigla laminated glass) should sit in the metal runner that then sits in the bottom felt, the glass does not sit directly in the bottom felt like the securit. It's not the glass thickness, it's the repro bottom felt thickness that's the problem. When building up and setting the bottom channel, The glass gets trapped and won't slide, I've had to shave the bottom of the felt off before glueing in the channel(around 3/4 mm) to leave enough room for the glass to slide. I checked it against an original piece I had, and the bottom part of the felt was twice the thickness on the repro
Hope that makes sense!!

...Yep...
So not a problem for me with euro glass securit
But see that Steve may have laminated glass.

Looking really nice. Good to see another 15 window coming back to life.
Which rubbers did you use for the the frame of your quarter lights? The ones I've got seem too hard and I can't get them to close, whereas yours certainly look like a much better fit.
Cheers
Ed
