Did a trolly dash around Schofields today, Rick there was brilliant!!!

Removed the front panel, it had a big ding in it and the metal had streached, As I want to keep any filling down to a bare minimum if none!! decided to replace it!The acid and coating had done its job it looked like new in there. Is the new tool box a new repro panel or a NOS part? What's wrong with the old one as I need one for mine.

Its a VW panel, i have been after one for a bit, the old one was missing, looks like someone started a walkthrough project, Schofields have started making the floor panel under it.

Today I have mainly been drilling holes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Due to the Frankenstein neck damage on the R/NS corner and some damage to the sill I decided to replace the long side in total as we had the panel and I have more time on me hands than sense!! It would do away with any filler as well.

Now just the strip under the waist Problem is theres no tell tale puff of rust when you get through the first skin due to the acid process.
