Not wanting to damage the new paint , getting the tank back in was a bit of a squeeze.
Took a bit of huffing n puffing but eventually got it back in , filler pipe into the new seal and straps bolted back down

Thanks chap

This is the 3rd bus I've done , but this time it's going slower than I would have liked due to having three young kids ( 7 , 3 , 1.75 )

The engine bay respray held me up a bit trying to find paint and masks.

Now time to get everything back together , battery back in and also a new leisure battery and new clamps , tidy up wiring , then focus on engine .

Curtain material collected by my seamstress this weekend .

More to follow

After work today I had a half hour spare so I thought I'd get the battery back in and also the new leisure battery. I'm not that keen on the old style battery clamps so thought I'd upgrade to an early bay battery clamps.

In this picture u will see the seat belt brackets I made up.
At the moment I don't have any welding gear so I sent these off to b properly welded up.
I thought this best as I've only done a small amount of welding in the past and as these are for seat belts and safety comes first and I wanted them done proper

Got um home today and got the first coat of paint on

With my seat belt brackets welded and sprayed I set to fitting them this weekend.
Was time consuming but got one fitted

Thankyou chap

It's very important to me to have safe passengers in the back.
We have 3 young kids all in car seats so having 3 point inertia seat belts was a must , not just the old lap belts that was in it when I purchased it

After work today I decided to replace my fuel lines.
I don't like my fuel filter in the engine bay so have mounted it above the gearbox which is my normal and preferred place to put them.
Also New nipple kit on tank with filter.
