Hi All






I know ... shoot me now .. for being a super back updater ...... Burt is very nearly done
Its been a special journey to say the least ....... But his nearly all done

Next to do in it the Loom and then we should have a drivable running car ..


As I know how expensive the hood stuff was in total I've decided to send the car to Dave The Trimmer as I couldn't bear it it a messed to roof up

so that's all booked in for the 20th Jan .... Should be with him for a few weeks as his also doing the inside trim work as lifespan's now too busy for my Claire and I don't want to put her under more pressure in having to do the inside ... I'll be laying the carpet all before Burt goes to Dave's

Update time


The good news is all the dirty work is done and Gerry is back where is belongs and Burt is next to him .... feel so much better knowing Gerry is back in his OG cave ....

So things have moved on well and bert is off to the Trimmers on Monday .... Claire said she would happily have done Burt but I know how stressed and busy she is and its would have been 100% unfair for me to add to all her stress with Burt .... So off to Dave The Trimmer he goes


Wheel alignment all done ..... just had the front straightened up for a quick fix .... so its not a complete monster to drive until I get a four wheel alignment done





He will go to Dominic at ( DG Auto services ) in wellingborough who looks after Gerry for me ... his a wizz on all air cooled things ... The only person to work on Gerry with the servicing work... Dominic will give him the once over and check my works ok plus I will get Dom to do a four wheel alignment as he the man .....

and a family road trip to cover a few shack down miles


some trips to shops for milk ... or was it beer ... can't remember ......




So tomorrow Alex is popping burt onto his trailer and taking him to Dave The Trimmer .... Dave said he want him for three week .. so I got time on my hands to get all my jobs done that have built up over the last year

Get some brownie points in ..

Things have been moving along nicely and Burt is looking 99% finished

His been at Dave The Trimmers for a few weeks and dave sends me progress photos most days

Its really looking good .... I'm going up there tomorrow to see it in the flesh for the first time with all the inside trimming finished

I'm just a little excited
