Yeah, what a bummer huh? It can't be fitted in situ. The shelf gets in the way.

Bumpers, over-riders and towel rails now back from the paint shop as well. Also picked up the deluxe bumper trims when in vegas.
I'll hopefully get a chance to fit them at some point. :(

Hi Mark

I doubt it. Just a lot going on in my personal life at the moment. The bus is having to take a back seat at the moment.

It's pretty easy. Buy vinyl. Buy blank cards. Draw around them, add a bit on for the edges. Cut out covers. Glue them.

Simples.

The vinyl,is the same that is used for my seats, door cards etc. I couldn't get it in the UK, so got Carol to send some to my hotel when I was in Vegas last month.

This mornings quick job.
Image

A quick template made, a bit of scrim foam to pad it and then vinyl over the top. Will look fine when the panel is fitted on it.

Had a quick play at starting to fit the seat back wraps for 10 minutes this morning. All quite scary!! Pics to follow!

Update: Just did this in my lunch break:

Doesn't look too difficult a job huh? Well it's not persay, but it does require attention to detail.Except they were so oversized it took a lot of trimming to get them to fit. Then an equal amount of work to get the seams to run nicely along the edges. The top and side is the most important part to get right as its on display. The ends are tricky as well. They're not perfect, but good enough. I can always try to tidy them a little more once the seat base trim and rubber mat is fitted.

I've covered the whole back as I couldn't be arsed to cut the majority of it out, plus its going to be obscured by the camping interior anyway.

Edit: Did the other side to get them both done! It was much harder as the seam had a really pronounced join. Its not quite as straight as the other side, but its as good as I could get it.

Fitted the stainless steel separator trim and trimmed up the rubber base mats. It looks like it will be pretty tidy when it's completed. I resisted gluing it tonight, as I want to get it right and I think I'd just rush it tonight.

Pics tomorrow when it's done.
