All new doors, all new wheelarches, new sills both sides, chassis repairs, outriggers, tophats, loading floor, rear corners, new inner and outer front panels.

Just started on it again after 4 years......

RHD and proud of it.

Keep at it. It'll all be worth it in the end..............so they tell me.
At least you didn't sell it as an unfinished project.

Cheers for the good words, dudes.

I went through a period of having no garage and no money after a restoration place wiped my savings out for not much work. It sat under a tarp in my back garden for nearly 2 years.

Then got married, bought a house that needed work and had a bairn.

But now the garage is done, I am ready to have a damn good go at it. 8)

it's come a long way and that's no joke.

I know where you're coming from, my project is still sitting in my garage (running) but that's about that.

I'm also glad you didn't sell it off as an unfinished project, there are lots of those this side of the ocean........

Well, a little progress has been made. Front beam is out and stripped down waiting for a narrowed adjustable one (probably 2") and discs. Rear end is about to be jacked up and stripped down ready for the IRS I have.

And, I have just about bare-metalled the cab floor and 1 front arch! Schofield panels ordered.

I have come to the conclusion that I need to buy a sand blasting kit to clean up under the cab floor as there are too many nooks and crannies to get my angle grinder into. Besides, my left hand didn't work properly after a couple of hours going at the wheelarch and floor! I've got to get the underside of the cab looking as new and clean as the cargo floor!

Oh, and I've got a new solid roof to weld on at some point. :D :D :D

Yep, it certainly is. Still haven't quite decided on the red. Definitely a VW red, not harsh, but redder than sealing wax. Chromed American Eagles too. Being a bit of a hot rod fan as well, I keep hankering after whitewalls......and a raccoon tail on the aerial.

Oh, and by front arch, I meant the inner. I stripped off all the paint and underseal as it was all flakey anyway.
