Bit more done on the safaris, cant wait for the leaks (hopefully not, have some buttys seals).
And sorted the 1st of the mountings for the seat belts (seat belts ! The wife will be happy ... she moans about the lack of them in the 15 window).
Engine build is about to start too I'm told ....

Now where did Dave learn all about Z14 VW Technical bulletin from....
Peebles has the same front and back. ..
My DIL would not travel without them..
And with all that go at the back and all that stop at the front...you will be planing...you will need them to stop head butting the safaris. ...

Hi Nik, your bus is looking nice. Dave's work seems always to be top quality.
I noticed your bus originally had washers. Are you putting them back in? I'm at that stage with mine and can't decide what to do. Not thinking about MOT ramifications but just from an "are they worth having, do they work?" point of view. Perhaps Rainex is the answer. What are your thoughts?

I have them on my bus and haven't used them in 3 years, only put water in the bottle at MOT time in case I am asked, me and the tester usually have a little joke over how pathetic they are and he moves on.
Rain-X is the key, don't normally use the wipers unless it is lashing down.

Not decided on it yet, what I do know is on my 15 window the wipers are as much use a fish on a bike .... rainx all the way !

Couple of weeks back in the UK gave me a chance to go check out the progress on the westy, looks like lots of original paint still there and has been exposed now !
I also got to meet a nice chap called Graham, and visit Stanford Hall !
