Thanks dude!!

Bit more today but not photogenic and I didnt want to trash my phone as the filler dust gets everywhere.

Image

Started blocking everything back, its not going to be rusty straight but thats for a reason that will become clear.

Got the drivers side door pretty much ready this was a long job though, popped another two coats of filler on after this shot, used the harder stuff for the last coat too, should be straight.

Image

And a gratuitous shot, just because I cant stop grinning at how she sits

Image

Might get up there tomoz but it will be the same, fill sand fill sand!!

Drivers door was left with a load of filler on it overnight so that was the first job...

Image

Got it sorted and trial fitted before I went home, it was dark by then so apologies for the naff picture

Image

Got 80% of the dash done too, there are about 5 hours in this already, its back breaking as your hunched up trying to get into gaps, hey its progress though!!

Image

After

Trying to get to paint stage, 3 doors left and we are almost ready!!

It's coming on a treat now.

I'm just starting to think about my undercarriage 8O and think I have reached my level of incompetence

Its all nuts and bolts pal, just like an adult meccano set, and theres tonnes of help on here with how to's etc. If you can do what you've done so far, then this will be a breeze!

Built my throttle bodies up with the injectors today. Bought RC1000's as according to the calculators and Wally I will need 1000cc injectors, thats 4 litres of fuel per minute if I go 100% in theory...GULP!!

The throttle bodies are fully O-ringed so will take boost well, Ive just got to Tig up some Plenum chambers thats all.

Image

Also got the X-Dash out and had a play, its awesome, swappable maps on the fly and 6 different pages of info on what the engine is up to, even fuel gauges, expensive bit of kit, but happy with it. Also tested the coils, all good too!

Image

Image

4 Bar map sensor and the loom are bonus items so should be all go soon...

I think 4 litres per minute should be compulsory for everyone :D

Will you be able to use it on the road or just the salt flats?

I'll be glad if I can make mine start

Was going to speak to you about discounts :) :) :)

Thats only when its foot down and even then only 80% so a meagre 3.2l per minute, so quite economical ;)

Like I said, its just metal bolted to metal, so its like the meccano, you will be able to do it with your eyes closed!
